Three steps to your first class.
Classes begin four times a year. Tell us what you’d like to learn and we’ll do our best to coordinate a class for you.
How to applySend us your ID
A valid photo ID is part of school admission. You can send your application and ID without fully committing.

Pay now or later: we ask that registration and payment be completed 3 business days before your first class.

Learning a language is different for everyone.
Our teachers use different methods and approaches to help all types of learners. Whether you’re more of a visual learner, auditory, or something else (such as kinesthetic), there’s a place for you in our classrooms!

Students cover all the basic skills to advance through one level in 20 weeks, divided into two 10-week sessions. In one session a student completes level 1A, and in the next 10-week session they’re enrolled in level 1B to complete Level 1.
At the end of the 20 weeks, students advance to the next level with their professor’s approval.

Group classes
10-week sessions, 2 hours once a week (20 hours). Evenings and Saturdays, in person or online. New groups start 4 times a year, and we start a class with 3–4 students.

Online classes
Study from anywhere, with a live teacher. Choose your language and register for the next session, same 10-week sessions.

Private & semi-private
On-site private lessons, or semi-private for two students, focused on exactly what you need. Private: $45 per hour. Semi-private: $30 per hour per person ($60 for the two of you).

Study abroad
Learn the language where it’s spoken.
Through our partners, you can study Japanese in Japan with ICA Japan, or Spanish in Spain and Costa Rica with Spanish While Traveling, immersive programs with daily instruction and real-life practice.
